We have a new Red Boots cartoon, so it must be Sunday.
The Birmingham Press, which ignores the ongoing push-out of hundreds of African-American students, the World of Opportunity, has noticed the mishandling of money by school officials. Apparently it's okay to mishandle students but money? Now you're talking serious matters.

Deep in NCLB's 670 pages lies a provision that requires public secondary schools to give military recruiters the names, addresses, and phone numbers of their students (mainly high school juniors and seniors). Some school districts responded to the new law by designing consent forms. Unless parents signed them, information about their children was not sent to the recruiters. Now, NCLB enforcers are fighting back.
