    Ohanian Comment: Everyone who has a quarrel with standardized tests MUST join in this effort to stop Washington State from implementing its high school exit exam. The Parent Empowerment Network in Washington has put a lot of work into a lawsuit. Everything is ready to go: lawyers, plaintiffs, and lots of paperwork. What they need is money.

    Their campaign, Sponsor a Senior,asks concerned citizens to help save the diplomas of seniors, at $20 per senior.

    We are in this together.

    Sponsorships have slowed to a worrisome rate, and we have a long way to go to cover the legal costs to stop the denial of diplomas. Please help PEN help the Class of 2008 and stop the state from blocking graduation and the hopes and dreams of thousands of our young people.

    Our attorneys are ready, several plaintiffs are in place, and action will be filed soon. PEN needs your help to pay the legal bill.
