When will the teachers unions organize teachers
to insist on exercising their professionalism?

So far I've made 2 kids cry because they had no
clue what the tasks were about. The 5th grade
test has a task about the steps it takes to
make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. My one
5th grader has only been tube fed his entire
life. He had no clue which of the 3 sets of
directions for making a peanut butter and jelly
sandwich was correct. He started crying. I felt
so bad for him. He's got a lot on the ball
receptively so I knew he was frustrated.

What happens if you can't show progress. We are
killing our selves with portfolios to show that
wonderful progress so we don't hurt our school.
