Education Equality Project Continues Strong American Schools' Mission
Lacking any shame, Klein claims they are building a civil rights movement. The co-founder is Al Sharpton. And here is the board. And here are the people who sign on to their blather.

Dear Susan Ohanian,
With your support, Strong American Schools put education equality on the President's agenda during the election with its "ED in '08" campaign. Now, Strong American Schools has passed the baton to the Education Equality Project (EEP), a coalition of education advocates, civil rights leaders, and elected officials. Building on the accomplishments of Strong American Schools, EEP is working with President Obama and his Administration to eliminate the racial and ethnic achievement gap in education.
During his tenure as Superintendent of Chicago's public schools, Education Secretary Arne Duncan endorsed EEP's platform; in his new role he is working courageously and aggressively towards our shared goal of national equity in education. So are more than 100 other signatories -- community leaders, elected officials, education reformers, and other leaders.
We want you to join us too! Sign up with EEP on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, and stay current by receiving our email updates.
Building a civil rights movement to eliminate the racial and ethnic achievement gap in public education has never been more important. We need to show our political leaders that there is a groundswell of support for real education change.
Our success depends upon the support of committed citizens like you!
Thank you,
Joel Klein
