    During the Olympics, The Feds Will Be Reading Your Tweets --And Social Media

    Ohanian Comment: I find this news That Homeland Security is monitoring such sites as the Huffington Post heartening. Can I hope that maybe someone close to Obama/Duncan will read what I've been writing about them on Huffington? They don't seem to read individual letters longtime educators send them. But maybe if I'm regarded as a threat to national security, they'll pay attention.

    Truth be known, the Obama/Duncan education policy is a threat to national security.

    As the winter Olympics begin, the Department of Homeland Security has disclosed that it will be monitoring the comments and posts on websites and social media like Twitter for information on possible terror threats. Among the sites listed in a privacy impact statement filed Friday afternoon by DHS are the Drudge Report, the Huffington Post, Twitter, Google and this web site, the Blotter. . . .
