Why?

I cannot even imagine going for a four-year degree in education and then another couple of years to get a masters....only to be treated like garbage once you get a job.

I suspect there will be a decline in enrollment in our colleges across the country in education. Would you expect any different? I personally am telling any young person I meet to not even THINK about being a teacher. I mean, why spend all that time, money and energy in a degree that is considered useless when the powers that be want business-hack teachers who leave after their two-year contracts are up?

Why won't they listen to the EDUCATORS who are in the trenches?

Why do most parents not have a clue?

Why do we need to wait 10 or 20 years to finally figure out this will not work?

Why are we trusting the same folks who crippled our economy to "reform" education?

Why can't the politicians for ONCE do something for the little guy instead of the wealthy?

And why can't people see that in the end this all hurts the kids?
