By the time voters in Seattle decide whether they want to spend $11.5 million (that’s about $200 per student) largely to install wireless internet in Seattle schools, wireless connections as we know them now will be different and maybe even obsolete. Remember ethernet? The computer companies will be delighted to sell Seattle the newest hardware and software to keep the students connected. Again and again. Why not spend the money on materials we know are of clear and lasting value? More Anti-testing Letters
