Dept of Ed aide arrested after disrobing in faculty room

WASHINGTON, D. C.--A masked aide in the Office of Communications and Outrage of the U. S. Department of Education says he simply wanted to cheer up teachers who seemed "stressed out" when he decided to appear at a school in-service presentation in the buff. Under police questioning, the aide admitted that stripping on stage in front of 63 teachers probably wasn't a good idea.

The aide, a recent transfer from the Office of Innovation and Improvement in the US Department of Education, said that messages he receives from teachers on Twitter indicate they are angry and even despondent over government reform efforts. He hoped to lighten their day by giving them a laugh. "I thought it would give them something to talk about besides standardized test scores."

Arrested for lewd and lascivious conduct, the aide admitted appearing naked at a school was a stupid thing to do.

"Not as stupid as the current Race to the Top mandates," said the principal of the school.
