A Letter from the Honorable George Herbert Walker's Son, Who Has a Libyan Opportunity for You
Dear friends,
Thanks and best regards. My name is George W.
Bush. My father is the former president of my
country, the Honorable George Herbert Walker
Bush. As fate would have it some of his friends
and our nation's high court put me in the
position of filling his shoes and now I too am
President. We are temporarily facing some
financial difficulties but with your help we look I am writing you with the proposition of a
business transaction. It is highly urgent and I can assure you it is completely without risk. If you can help us out I promise you will be most richly rewarded. I gave all my friends in the richest one percent of my country a massive tax cut and then I went and started an utterly
needless war. The bills for the occupation are a few tens of billions of dollars more than we had planned for. Between the tax cuts and the $160 billion we've spent on Iraq already, the treasury has been emptied out. Now we are facing
something of a fiscal crisis.
Fortunately, we can rely on the infinite
flexibility of our taxpayers and we can borrow
against their ability to pay taxes into the
future indefinitely. I can rely on the
possibility of running this debt up into the
trillions of dollars if necessary and the beauty of it is that the people who will get stuck paying these bills aren't even born yet! Right now though, in order to avoid bringing this up in our upcoming elections and endanger my own re-election, I need to borrow some more money.
This is where you come in. If you could spare say, $100 billion or some portion thereof, we
need it wired to a bank account in Liberia. I
will very shortly (after we get past the
election) be able to pay you back with a handsome bonus for your assistance.
